hi
i have a necklace which is costume, im not sure what it is made from but wearing it has made it turn dull and orangy!!! its by tarina tarantino and was quite expensive for something that does this , its gorgeous but not with ugly tarnishing.... is it possible to get rid of the tarnishing? please help i dont know what to do !!! thank you

Can you show a picture? What you're describing doesn't sound like tarnish but possibly the plating wearing off, or changing colour. Do you spray perfume, hair products or antiperspirant while wearing it? Those could contribute to a colour change or affect plating.

oh you are probably right .... is there anyway to fix this sort of damage?
i havent sprayed it BUT i have worn it when its been extreamly hot and i heard sweat can damage it so may have been that
i dont know how to put a picture?
its a shame as i love this jewellery but it always goes orange and i dont know what to do. i dont want to spend so much on it if its ruined this easily :(

Yes, sweat can damage plating over time. I would not use silver polish on it as it my strip more of the finish. Without seeing pictures of the item, it's difficult to know what to recommend. If you can post some, I would be happy to help.

take it back to tarina tarantino, they should be able to do something
