Hello everyone! I would like to buy a classic watch for my wife birthday.
You know, basically a man doesn't know too much about Cartier watches, I would love your opinions.

I'm currently leaning towards the Cartier tank française, but I don't know if should buy the 11 diamonds version(WE110006) , or just the classic steel version (W51008Q3

My opinion, I like the pure classic and the Roman numbers, but just concern it looks too plain for now? (After all it has been released over 20 years.)
The diamonds will give the tank a highlight but still keep the classic flavor.
What do you think? Any comments would be very appreciated.

I think you should ask her--it's an investment that you would want to get right at the outset. If she likes diamonds, go for it. If not, go plain.
