Food Talking about wine

What's a vinovolve?

Something to help stirring the wine, as it seems.

But I doubt whether it is really needed.

It is something for aeration - it is in the prototype phase. We were offered the option to purchase in late 2015 by the sommelier at a wine bar we frequent. The inventor is local and it is in the testing phase. So far Ruth's Chris, Del Frisco and dean & Delucca are using them as well as some local upscale establishments. The national launch should be this year. The reviews are excellent and we have noticed a major difference with bigger wines that benefit from aging.

I met the VP at Gundlach Bunschu on Tuesday at a local tasting. The Cab was very nice. And she was lovely.

Also purchased a bottle of 2011 Opus One for Valentine's Day/hopefully a post-Carolina Panthers victory celebration. If Denver should win, it may saved for our anniversary this summer.

Tonight is a mild Zin - Cheers
