I've been loving anything shiraz lately.

I like Yellowtail, which I think is Australian if I remember correctly? They also make something called "sweet red roo" which is to die for if you like sweet wines.
It's weird how my two favourites are so drastically different.

We went to our area vineyards today - lots of tastings and a little picnic with a bottle of Montepulciano. The goat cheese and fig was a lovely pairing.

Yes, it is.

The namesake of the brand, Yellow Tail, is the Yellow-footed Rock Wallaby (Petrogale xanthopus), a relative of kangaroos.

I like Rose too, especially in the summer! I brought two bottles back from Italy, along with about 6 bottles of Chianti! My DH likes red wines more than I do; I typically stick with white wines like Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.
