I have been obsessing from afar and finally tried her on but could not pull the trigger. I had only minutes at the store before it closed. These bags are pricey and I consider each purchase carefully.

I own the speedy b 35 in mono, the neverfull GM in mono, and the Neverfull MM in DE. I carried these three bags for 10 years.

More recently I have downsized as my daughter is independent. last year, I moved out of my neverfull and into the Noe BB in DA which I absolutely adore. However, I feel I need one more option in the small-mid range that is more all weather.

I really feel like this bag is the right fit for me. But a lot of unknowns. I’ve never had a leather LV, I have never had a flap bag.

For those with the PM; do you still love her, how do you feel about flap bags, and what do you typically carry in your bag?

Thanks!!

Oh and disregard the outfit please we were on a road trip!!

The pochette metis in empreinte is my most used and most favourite bag.
I love that it is subtle and understated.

It's been through rain, snow, fallen off my passenger seat onto a dirty truck floor, fallen on pavement in a parking lot, scraped against a brick wall and it's still gorgeous and still looks amazing.

Just last week it was scraped against a rough concrete step and was soaked as I was walking in the rain. I've had no issues in the over 5 years I've been carrying it as my daily bag. Only swapping out occasionally.

The flap doesn't bother me and in fact many of my bags are flap bags. If you have something in the front pocket the closure won't be an issue.

I carry a mini pochette, coin card holder, round coin purse, slim wallet and my glasses case. It can still fit so much more if necessary.

I have 3, it is by far my most used and most favorite bag. I was never a flap bag gal and held off for so long because I assumed I wouldn't like it. I ended up buying a coach cassie to try since it was far more cheaper incase I hated it. I loved it, after using it for 4mo straight I jumped ship to a metis and have never looked back. I actually gave the cassie to my daughter and she loves it and I've continued to grow my metis collection. I went with empreinte first and recommend that for you as well. It's subtle can be dressed up or down and is durable!

Good luck with your decision.. It's such an amazing bag!

I've had mine since autumn 2021 and it's one of my most used bags as well! It's incredibly versatile in that it holds most things I want to have with me while I'm out - wallet, mini pochette, sunglasses - and looks polished both during the day and into the evening. Plus I don't feel I have to be overly precious with it. My SA told me it's fine to get wet as long as I don't let water sit on it...admittedly I haven't tested that by taking it out in the full-on rain but I'm actually encouraged hearing @TangerineKandy's experience! Mine comes on pretty much every vacation with me as the "one purse to rule them all"

How do you like using the PM S-Lock? Is it easy to get scratch on the surface when you open/close it? I am thinking of buying the PM East West but worry about the scratches. Please share.

I have a PM in empreinte and two Coach Cassies. I used to hate flap bags, but the Cassie converted me and made me consider a PM. The trio of flap bags are now some of my most-reached for, worry-free, easy grab bags.
I do agree that it's easier to open the PM's clasp if there's something in the front pocket. For me, that tends to be my kindle paperwhite, which fits perfectly and comes with me nearly everywhere. I've also carried it with the flap unclasped and it's heavy enough to not flop around much.

I have the turtledove and love it. This is a go-to bag for travel, shopping, etc. I think you should go for it. It looks great on you!

I think the scratches are fairly inevitable, but to be honest they don’t bother me - I don’t find them that noticeable unless I’m really looking for them as opposed to just carrying the bag. The most significant ones are also under the lock, so not at all visible when it’s closed. image.jpg

I bought the PM in mono when it first came out, however I sold it because I did have glazing issues. This is the only bag that I have sold and rebought. I purchased the Reverse Mono PM last year and hands down it is my most used and loved bag. I love it so much that I want to purchase one in leather as well, but don't really want to purchase a black bag, so waiting on the right color for me. It is a good medium size bag that provides good organization and fits a fair amount of things for daily use. I haven't really put this bag down and my other bags are getting jealous! Just wait till I get the leather version...may have to sell everything else! LOL
