Any experiences with the line? I love the Cedar Street line, with the crosshatch leather, and it looks like Newbury Lane offers a more inexpensive version. I would love some input from the experts!

I've owned many items from both the Cedar Street collection and the Newbury Lane collection. Personally I prefer the Cedar Street collection because the items are more sleek and streamlined compared to the logos and other details on the outlet bags. That's not to say the Newbury Lane line isn't as good quality but the little details resulted in me selling/giving away all my outlet items. As you mentioned it is a cheaper version of the Cedar Street collection. Ultimately it comes down to personal preference!

Is Newbury Lane an outlet line?

I have both- two newbury lane lodens, a cedar street maise and harmony. I have to say I prefer the Cedar Street line. The thing that really annoys me about the lodens is that if you want to close the buttons on the sides, it drastically decreases the amount of stuff the bag can hold. The harmony is great, I use it regularly and it's hold up very well. No major wear and tear yet even though I've used it on packed commuting trains.

I think it is. I rarely see anything from Newbury Lane on the website and I've seen them in tons of outlet haul videos on youtube. Also, I thought that the gold bar with the logo was an outlet think, like the leather patch on Wellesley, and most of their price tags have 2 prices on it. I could be wrong, though.

Most of my Kate Spade items are from the outlet, and they've all held up very well with use. (One Astor Court Naomi and Zuzu, plus Wellesley Layton) So outlet quality is what I'm used to, and I haven't been disappointed yet! So I guess I just want to know if they hold up well?

I agree, I much prefer the Cedar Street collection, the Harmony is one of my favourite bags!

Yes, the Newbury Lane collection is an outlet collection. You'll find the Newbury Lane collection had decent quality, but as I mentioned it's all about personal preference on whether you like the outlet or speciality styles more.
