Tags on outlet items ~ question

I've occasionally bought outlet items where the tags are cut. On a recent trip every item had the tag cut & neatly in the pocket. Is this a new practice?

I have noticed the kisslock coin purses are done like that at our outlet but not much else is!

Depends on the outlet I guess... but I've bought bags a few years ago at the outlets with the tags cut and inside the zippered pockets. They used to do that at the boutique too.

I bought the coin purse as well, and the tag was on the inside!
