Why do I think all these cool looking Tabbys are going to be 70% next Fall? Cant bring myself to buy any.

Because they are making so many of them..... so it will be like the Parker and some other bags where they will be around a long time and cheap down the road, lol
My new measurement is, if the item is available at Dillard’s, don’t even think of paying full price! BTW, I don’t live near a Dillard’s nor have I shopped at one, but their sales seem to flood the second market with deals 
I'm surprised they are making so many of them. IMO, the Cassie is more popular & appeals to a wider audience.
I totally agree with you. I refuse to pay full price for a Coach bag. I have many beautiful bags, but I bought them all during some Coach sale, wthether it was PCE, SAS, a department store, or Outlet deletes. Coach bags are never really gone. They always have a miraculous way of reappearing at ridiculously low prices.
They probably will be 70% off next fall, but I'll be ok with that because in this case I purchased for the upcoming holiday season and for Vegas in a few weeks. Next fall I'll be onto something else. I rarely pay full price, but am a sucker for accessorizing (buckles, straps, charms etc.) My store was doing a tabby event so I also got 3 customization elements, entered in a drawing for a tabby, the Orlando skyline hangtag and a Miami skyline hangtag all included.
Hope you win a Tabby! This customization is one reason that would push me to buy a Tabby now as this is something I probably won’t get to do at a deep discount later.
I really like the ombré Tabby and would consider that because it would look great for the holiday parties. Would it bother me down the line if it gets heavily discounted? No, because I got what I wanted for it, usage for it now. Other tabby’s I like, I may wait as I won’t use them now and I could wait for them to be discounted. If they sellout or I don’t have the chance to buy it at a discount, will I be upset to not get that tabby? No, so I’m ok with that.
The decision to buy is really what we feel comfortable with. Buying now satisfies our desires for the item right away, this also insures you get a brand new nondamaged item (usually). Waiting for it to go to the outlet/sale is a gamble, the price is great but the item could be slightly damaged and possibly missing parts (like the hangtag, dustbag) or missing the item entirely. Not all of us have the opportunity to shop at the outlets/FOS or ability to do found others. The bottom line is your decision has to be on what you are happy with.
The customization is the only reason I bought now vs. waiting. Otherwise I agree I wouldn't be too upset if I never got one at all. They did say they weren't making as many of the customizable ones so they would be more limited, but you know how that goes so I don't put too much stock in that whole "only 15 left" kind of game. I did make sure to get 2 additional buckles though just in case they sold out.

That ombré tabby would be really great for holiday parties! Everyone that walked into the store was immediately drawn to it. I went with the tweed for Vegas because I'm thinking I can dress it up or down and it's pretty neutral so it can go with all my outfits, but YES PLEASE I hope I win the tabby clutch too
And also 100% agree about Dillards. I have 2 close to me and I usually wait if out because they eventually do 30%, then 50%, then 65% and where ever the markdown falls when they do the end of month clearance you can get 30/40, 50/40 or 65/40 so some really amazing deals!
What do you think of Tabby 26? I'm not sure if it's too small. Coach is really trying hard to push Tabby.

I love the look of the Tabby 26. I am wondering how it compares to Dinky in size as that is one of my favorites. I too have been burned a few too many times paying full price for something I was told was limited and then they were at the outlets several months later. So no more paying FP anymore for me.
Someone said it hold more than the regular Dinky, and about the same or a little less than the Dinky 24. That said, I just got a Dinky 24, and I don't really find a huge difference between the two Dinky bags--it is more vertical space with the 24, so it doesn't really help me much. So, I am guessing we can just assume the Tabby holds a bit more than the Dinky but not a lot more.
I think they are making so many of these Tabby bags, there is plenty of reason to wait for a sale on them.
I think the Tabby is fairly popular, and with the new colors will grow in popularity. As for the Dreamer, that bag has done pretty well. That said they often make too many of several types of bags.
