I dont have the earrings but I have a platinum dbty bracelet and a silver pink sapphire bracelet. between the two the bezels on the gold or platinum versions are more delicate and make the stones look sparklier and bigger. I find the silver bezels over whelm the stones a bit.
if you were to do the silver bezels I say go for the coloured stones because they are bigger then the diamonds and stand out more.
