Swift leather

I'm getting my next bag in this leather (that is if my SA is able to get her from another store, otherwise, I'll have to wait for PO, urghhh.... keeping my fingers crossed). I love the smoothness or velvety feel of it, so this alone outweighs the durability factor since it's more delicate than some of the other leathers like Togo, Clemence, or Epsom.

I have one birkin in swift. While I do love the sumptous touch to the hand, I find that the corner wear is just too much of a negative to purchase another one. I am extremely careful with my bags and even I have been subjected to a few bumps. Also, it's a personal taste issue, but I don't care for the stretching of the handles. I don't mind the batwings as much as I used to, but when I first got the bag, that bothered me too. I'm sure you are wondering, why did I buy this bag?? For the color babe. For the color. Swift takes color so beautifully. I think swift is great in a smaller clutch like a KP or a KL.
