Sweetheart Small Flap in Light Blue or Sweetheart WOC in Light Pink?

This week I purchased two sweetheart bags from 24P and I'm trying to decide between the two. The small sized sweetheart flap ($5600) in light blue and the sweetheart WOC in light pink - aka dusty rose. Being I am pregnant with baby #2 and having a girl this time, I wanted to buy a pink bag and was searching for the small sweetheart flap in dusty rose for days until I found out that Chanel ONLY made that color in the mini sweetheart flap ($5400) and this WOC. I cannot understand why they didn't make it in the small flap 😣 So odd! Anyway, both colors and styles are GORGEOUS! The sweetheart bags are amazing with the adorable adjustable heart chain and the little heart on the CC. They are also caviar, which as we know is great for every day!

These two colors together remind me of my favorite Sanrio characters, LITTLE TWIN STARS 🥰

I am currently 8 months pregnant so please excuse my big belly in the modeling shots. Any opinions on which bag and color looks nicer? Like I said, I wanted the pink in the small flap because I feel that bag is the better choice over the WOC but it's not even made so that is not possible. But the light blue is so beautiful too as it has a bit of mint green in it. Truly stunning with the antique gold! Ahhh, tough decision here 😅

Twins should stay together so, perhaps, keep both? 😉 - they are very different. If you, however, can only keep one, I would keep the pink one - a cute reminder of the reason for the purchase: having a girl. Now, if you want the bag purely for the practical reasons and not sentimental, I would go with the blue because it is more spacious.

Ohhhhh I would LOVE to keep both!!! Just not possible at this time, especially with a newborn on the way. Funds needs to go to her. But I see what you mean about keeping the pink bag being I'm having a girl this time. Ugh in a perfect world Chanel would have made the small flap in the pink, even though the blue is TDF. They are just both beautiful colors. The small flap is definitely more spacious and practical though, I agree!

Yeah I have one WOC, a boy, that I bought in 2017. The ONLY time I've worn it is for dinners and parties/events where I didn't need a big bag at all. It's definitely not practical for every day, although I guess some people can make it work for that purpose, I dunno. I haven't been able to do so myself. The small flap is so perfect for every day. As mentioned before, if only it came in the pink since I wanted it as a gift to celebrate having a girl. Too bad the blue and this bag wasn't available when my son was born 3 years ago lol 😄

Congratulations on your baby girl. I'm biased, I'd keep the pink as a beautiful reminder of this special chapter in your life. This pink is rather neutral and I think would be very versatile with any wardrobe and also versatile in any season.

WOCs are small. But I can see it work to keep your phone, keys and a few cards. The rest of the other stuff you need for newborn will be in a regular tote. This WOC you keep close to your body. Just my 2 cents.

So happy for you. The green flap is cute too, but I find that mint, light greens or light blues work only when you're younger. I'm in my 40s, and I can rock pink, but not light green/ blue. Maybe it's just me.

Thank you for your post. I’m actually an “older” mom. I turn 42 this coming weekend 😅😅😅 I still think us girls in our 40s can rock light blue and mint greens, why not?? 🩵🩵🩵

But yeah when my son was younger especially I used tiny cross bodies and put the bulk of my stuff in his diaper bag. However, now that he’s about to turn 3 I’m back to the bigger bags. I guess with the new baby I gotta go through the ol diaper phase all over again though 🤪

Thank you so much 😊 And I so wish I could keep both. I feel they’re different enough to warrant that. But unfortunately I do need to just pick one 😌 The blue in person is truly stunning.

Thank you! All my Chanel bags are black, I’ve been boring like that lol. It’s nice to have a pop of color. The color of this blue is very special. Hard to even capture it right in photos.

Oh and if anyone reading this post is wondering why I didn’t just get the pink in the sweetheart mini flap, it doesn’t fit nearly as much as the small size and there is only a $200 difference between the two sizes. I just can’t justify it for $5400 when the size up is $5600.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! While I can understand wanting something pink to commemorate your baby girl’s arrival, I think the blue bag is much more practical, and aesthetically, I prefer the shape of it to the WOC. Cookiethedog’s suggestion of a pink SLG is an excellent one - and seems like the perfect answer!

As others have said, it really comes down to style preference... small flap and WOC are very different styles and what they can fit.

I would hands down pick the blue. For me, I do not like WOCs. Not wide enough to fit much and I much prefer bags where I can toss my SLG into and not have to remove every single cc to put into a WOC...

& to play devils advocate. One of my mommy friends lovesss her WOC because she carries her huge diaper bag + the WOC, which is much more hands free with the little one
