This year, i started to like the sweet size and mini size earrings!

i am eyeing on below 4! Would like to see your modeling pictures.

will they be too small?

i have been wearing the vintage alhambra size kind of earring but find it a little big when pair with same size single pendant or too big for a dress down day.

I recently tried some of the sweets sizes but unfortunately not the frivoles yet. I find these mini sizes more wearable for my personal style. The vintage Alhambra size earrings feels too big on me, I didn’t feel confident wearing them but perhaps I need more time to ease into it just like with the bracelets and necklaces. If you’re looking for more daily wearable earrings I think these mini ones are great for that. Of the four you listed I personally would go for the pave Frivole if you have a more feminine style, it’s so pretty!

Wow!! They are truly so cute!!!!
Do u find the blue butterfly hard to pair?

maybe because you were wearing yellow gold necklace in picture.

i wear big statement piece daily.

but i think these could be good weekend dress down day pieces.

thank you so much for sharing!!!!

The turquoise would be great if you have other turquoise pieces to match or the same shade scarf or dress for summer! I personally felt like it was too bold of a color on me and prefer the MOP so I got the YG MOP butterfly instead. These small cuties are definitely casual and so wearable! They wouldn’t take the attention away from your statement pieces, I think it’ll complement them nicely.

I am a huge fan of the mini sweets. I have a pair on the way and considering a second pair. My SA tried to talk me out of them since my other pieces are mostly bolder diamond pieces. But it is nice to have variety. I think they are much easier to wear casually. The vintage size is too big for my ear lobe too. At a kids birthday party yesterday a mom was wearing mop sweet earrings in place of her regular 6ctw diamond earrings. I thought the size and look was perfect for your outfit and occasion. I was wearing my lucky 2 motif earrings which I find are a good casual neutral pair given the colours and butterfly.
Just think about what other jewellery you might wear with it and then buy a pair. The price point is easier to make a mistake with.

The pave sweets are my daily 3-4 days a week. I work from home. Otherwise I wear my WG small Frivole. I do have a very casual life tho. No parties or clients. My other jewelry is my platinum ering, plain platinum band, my SS datejust and now my single row bangle. I am most comfortable with low key, non-matching WG bling.
I love sweets but I only have one pair because so far if I get more I would likely still reach for the pave pair. I also think the mini Alhambra motif is so cute. I love mine and are most most worn VCA item.

Ahh these are all so adorable! Just curious, for those who own sweet earrings, what is the backing like? Are they secure? Stud earrings have fallen off on me so many times so I’m too nervous about getting any fine jewelry earrings. :annoyed:

They use La pousette backings which are very secure! I’m not fond of them because they’re harder to take off but after using them for a while I do like how secure they are.

Right. And the vca la poussette backings kinda hurt the fingers. I would buy the Amazon ones that have a larger grip to use instead. Luckily my pair was purchased prior to them switching la poussette backs.

I just recently purchased the ruby mini frivole earrings and love them! They feel bigger to the eye than my turquoise sweet earrings, but not as big as when I wear my vintage Alhambra earrings.

The la pousette backings are very secure! They’re kind of frustrating to put on though (especially if you have long nails). I’m always late for work every morning I wear them lol.
