Hi, does anyone own Swaine London bags - how is the quality? Or have any experience with the brand? Would love to hear some thoughts

I just came across them when searching for a mini briefcase. Extremely interested in their Bond collection! They have some gorgeous bags online and from what I gather only two boutiques in England.

I have a music case, but from years ago. Very traditional and hardy. I don't know if they still sell them.

Their bags are gorgeous. You can also custom order on most bags if you can't find the right combo.

I would love a proper Bond attaché case 3.5 in black, ghw and red leather lining, but I'd happily go for a Bond girl if it didn't have 'Alcantara' lining.

Swaine also sell Brigg umbrellas which are world famous.

They are mostly known for their sturdy bridle leather items (used to be called Swaine Adeney Brigg).

The company appeased to have pivoted after being sold to the French Chargeurs Group after encountering serious sales issues due to the COVID pandemic. They appear to be trying to switch to a more fashion forward brand as their main market has all but disappeared. (Heavy bulletproof briefcases that business people have all but forgotten about).

Most internet posts seem to be related to the old firm and I’m not too familiar with the quality of the new firm. (people seem to be happy with the quality though from what I’ve read)
