Absolutely count me in. I'll package up some goodies soon and send them to PO box.
Starbucks did something like this, too.
Some suggestions:
For food, don't send anything perishable or that could melt.
For toiletries, don't send anything pressurized.

I am so glad so many people want to join in! I am really looking forward to this project! My family and I are going to costco today for a large bulk purchase to get the ball rolling! I love to get the kids involved in stuff like this, I think it's really good for them.

Another suggestion: How about anything that'll help them keep in touch with their families? Like stationery, pads of paper, envelopes, calling cards . . . .
^^^Actually, no calling cards please...They have been having problems with these being stolen from the boxes...I know, lovely, but I guess that is almost like cash.
