Please help me decide which do you prefer? I think I love the curves of the marshmallow, but it is very casual, and there is a lot of metalwork which is potentially scratch-worthy. I love the structure of the OTG, and the little purse, but I really dislike the strap on it? Help! Thanks!x

So tough! To the eye, I think I prefer the marshmallow but the lure of the round purse might push me to the OTG?! I think you should wear both around the house and decide which is most comfortable, that is probably the deciding factor when they are both gorgeous. Also be sure to bend down whilst wearing. I have had several crossbody bag disasters where it has swung round and down on my body and hit the floor if I have to do up a child shoelace, for example. If one is less likely to do that then that’s worth considering!

My vote is for the OnTheGo PM….I had the marshmallow in khaki and ended up returning. I didn’t like how it looked crossbody and felt the strap blocked my favorite detail which was the side of the handle with the lock feature. I do have the OnTheGo pm in pastel and really like it. Not crazy about the open top but I do like the strap and attached coin purse. I’m getting kind of tired of the giant LV logo so the OnTheGo sold me with the extra logos on the sides…

Thanks for your replies! I think I prefer the marshmallow to wear, as it is more my style of bag. I agree the OTG is more classic (although the print is not..), but I feel it sticks out more when wearing crossbody. I tried the marshmallow strap on the OTG and it looked lovely, I wish they had released it with that strap. Hmm… More pondering required..!

Weird I felt the opposite that the marshmallow stuck out more on me than the OTG. If you can, go to a store and try them both on. Maybe that will help with your decision?

I love the on the go but it was a bit odd for me because the purse is more formal and the strap was more casual. When I wear it without the strap I can only use my hands/put it on my arm which I don't like because I like having my hands free. Also if the handles are down they will leave a slight crease in the middle of the logo. They went away when I stood the handles up for some time but it seemed very high maintenance to me. It was really hard to do but I ended up returning it because it also had some other defects. There is a video on YouTube that reviews the marshmallow pretty well by handbagholic. I found it really useful because she goes over both the pros and cons in detail. Also I did try to find a strap to match the on the go but hard to find the proper shade so the one I got didn't match and ended up looking childish. Shame they didn't use the one from the marshmallow honestly. Best of luck deciding they are both beautiful bags!
