As the lovely @papertiger suggested me in another thread I am here asking for your help re some styling ideas for my new Gucci.
I impulse bought her a couple of days ago but now I am experincing major buyer remorse because I was saving for a tpm Evie in gold. I really love her color and her classical style but I am afraid that it would be a bit too formal for my lifestyle.
I am petite and curvy, in my early 40s, two kids, working in the sanitary field.
My aesthetic is 70s french boho chic meets Lily Van der Woodsen (Celine, Polene, Hermes are my fav brands) with wide leg jeans or trousers, blouses and mariniere, cozy cashmere jumpers, Max Mara coats during autumn and mainly a biker or a denim jacket for spring. I often wear heels, ballerinas or sneakers.
I am a neutral and dusty colors lover, never wear fluo or jewel tones.
My.fave bags are Celine belt and trotteur, Hermes Evie, Polene Tonca and Un mini, LV mini Alma.

How would you style her? Thanks for your help!

I would like to see you just try some mod shots with your ''70s meets Lily v d W' style as a start

I think Lily would definitely wear this bag. Look at all her 'images' on google - just remove the K, Serpenti tote or whatever hand-held she's using and done. She's normally in neutrals, but a flash of blue-green or green-blue would fit right in.

It's more '60s than '70s in shape granted, but that can be a plus, because it brings some structured smartness into the equation - and if you're curvy a structured handheld is going to be far more flattering than a cross-body pouch (Evie) or 70s-style hobo or soft shoulder bag. The colour is '70s French boho chic, you probably need to stay away from tired skirts and billowing sleeves of the 'peasant' look and focus more on, shirt-dresses and wrap-dresses, shorts with tunics or short kaftans. No reason why you can't wear this bag with all sorts of heels - to none including flats and sandals, even flip-flops.

It's bedtime here now, and tomorrow I am on the go all day, but Thursday I am going to use my Gucci Dome shape bag and try to put some outfit ideas for you.

This bag is perfect for your aesthetic. Ans, it’s gorgeous.

The TPM is somewhat utilitarian for those of us who carry very little. I have two of them and I like them, mainly for going to Whole Foods or sitting on a plane. (If I went to bars at night, that could be another use).

But, the TPM is not very stylish; nor would it further your 70s french boho chic. Nor do I think it’s particularly iconic h style (running for cover lol)

ETA: this color is a pop neutral (yes it’s a jewel tone too, but IMO that’s secondary). It is also a fabulous structured bag. The closest I have is a 25 Bleu orage kelly sellier which goes with everything .

here is a TPM pic with my airport outfit plus a few pics of the 25K. The only reason the 25K is open is bc I took my phone out to take the pic  The last two pics with the 32K sellier and the rainbow bolide were a last minute sub for the 25K.
