stupid to buy 2 keepall 45's? one for...

I often have this feeling when I like something alot. I tend to buy a back-up.
If I have the extra $$$$, I would buy another as a spare.

I'd buy one to start and see how it holds up and how much use it gets - if you use it loads and think that you need a second one, then by all means get a second one - i just think that if you get two right away then you might end up not using one and that'd be a waste of money IMO.

I have the same kind of mindset as you, not with LV bags, but with books. I'll buy a paperback as a reading copy and if I love it enough, I usually get another one in hardback or find a signed copy for my shelves...

You can buy a brand new one to let it patina and take it out on special trips when there's no risk of ruining vachetta, and then buy a used one for everyday schlepping around for fun.
