Hi guys. I REALLY need some help. I have a sizeable windfall due my way, most of which I intend to save but I want to get myself something really nice with it, and hopefully, not buy anything for a while!

My choices are a pair of diamond studs (1.5cts), a diamond tennis bracelet (3 or 4cts) or a new watch. I already have one of each. The studs I have are small and I wear in my second piercing. I can't remember the size but definitely less than a carat. I have a pair of gorgeous diamond cluster flower earrings that are of excellent quality but I don't wear them as much as I thought I would. I know studs are a wardrobe staple but I wonder if my not wearing the clusters means I won't wear the studs either.

I also have a tennis bracelet but in yellow gold and a white gold one would really round out my everyday jewellery wear. I would love to go with a higher carat but the prices now are formidable and realistically, the 3ct I currently have works with my everyday wear so 3-4cts should be fine.

But I had told myself I'd buy a nice sports watch as my next gift to myself. I love the J12 but that's more money than I plan on spending

PLEASE HELP!

I would consider the watch. You already have diamond earrings and you can always get your yellow gold tennis bracelet dipped to white gold. However if you want to keep it yellow gold, then for me it's between the bracelet and watch. I would do more research on watches and see what you can get in your price range, etc. Especially since a watch can be more of an everyday item, which means you'd have this special item to wear more often.

I already have a Tag Heuer 27mm Aquaracer in steel and yellow gold with diamonds. It's really versatile but I don't always feel like wearing something so elegant, you know what I mean?

I'd vote for either the studs or the watch. Studs you'd never really get tired of and you could upgrade them in the future if you wanted to.
A watch you might eventually tire of and want a different one. Have you thought about a Rolex or Cartier in stainless? Much less expensive than a gold watch and I actually like that the stainless aren't as flashy.

What's the price range for a stainless steel Rolex? I don't really like Cartier watches!

Thank you for the wonderful compliments about my tennis bracelet. Everybody on here has such amazing tennis bracelets that blow mine out the water, although I do love it.

I would choose the studs. As for the watch, there are classic styles to choose from, but the styles, shapes, metal colors and sizes go in and out of fashion. I think the studs are something you would wear all of the time and would be the best long term investment. Plus I think your diamond tennis is really beautiful already!

I would choose the watch, since you already have a tennis bracelet.
Studs are far from a staple in other countries of the world, specially diamond ones. I prefer to go with dangling earrings ;)
