I have two kids heading back to uni in a week so handbags have to wait , however, Saks has the mini on pre-sale, see link below (they show the bag on a 5'5" model). I looked up the Emile sizes...

LARGE 11"L x 13"H x 6.25"W
SMALL 9"L x 11"H x 6"W
MINI 10"L x 7"H x 4"W

So, the mini is slightly longer than the small but 4" shorter in height and 2' narrower. I always grab a tape measure and measure it out against other bags I have but of course the style also dictates how much you can fit in. I've had bags that have worked for me that have measured larger than smaller ones that haven't worked, often because of the bag's structure, ie. slouchy vs. stiff.
