The studded Gramercy satchel. Boy is she a stunner.

But can I justify $795 for it?? The last coupon I got in the mail was until March 22 so I have a feeling there won't be any more for quite a while.

I must admit I have Gramercy in all three original colors: black, red and oxblood. So maybe I should just stop lol. But at the same time it is hands down my favorite Coach bag.

But this would be the most expensive bag I have ever bought so that makes me hesitant and I want to be careful with my decision.

Has anyone seen this in person? Or any opinions in general would be much appreciated!!

I personally think this is too much to spend on a Coach that isn't a special edition. It does look really nice though, so if you are worried you will regret it if it sells out maybe you should get it. I don't think I've seen any posts about gramercys going to the outlet so it may not be available at a lower price at the outlet in the future.

My cousin works at a Coach retail store and told me that the gramercy is a very popular bag so not a lot made it to the outlet

If you don't mind buying from department stores, I would wait for Dillard's to reduce the price. That is how I got my mink croc Gramercy last year. I was checking daily, and when they reduced the price by 30%, I grabbed it.

Gramercy is hands down my favorite bag too. I know how you feel. I wouldn't mind having more of these, too!

I saw this bag in person and although I thought she was beautiful, she was overshadowed by these exotics! Once I saw the croc embossed and python embossed bags, I quickly forgot about the studded Gramercy! :blushing:

But if she's really a bag you love, get her! You already love the Gramercy style and you don't have a light color in your collection, so you'll probably carry her quite often in Spring and Summer. That makes her cost per wear very reasonable, no? :graucho:

Those are gorgeous! I love Gramercy and all the colors they have come out for it! I definitely agree that the white color is very different than what I already have

Wow, that was fast! Please let us know how you like it when it arrives. I love the Gramercys too but I haven't been able to find the red one I want at a good price.

I really like Gramercy, especially when it's studded but also afraid it would look a bit bulky on me. I've been searching Google but couldn't find any pictures with real life people carrying it!

I think the studded gramercy is a masterpiece from Coach. Never seen anything like this before. I am told that the studs are handcrafted. I purchased it although I already had the non-studded chalk because i feel in love with it instantly and i am usually not like that. My people were not so excited. They thought it looked just like the other one. When I actually carried it, i i got some admiring glances from them and they agreed it looked great on me. The reason i like it so much is because the studs are very subtle and i am not a bling person at all. I must warn you that the bag is on the heavier side. I like it so much that i don't care. I use it for special occasions and only carry bare essentials. Overall, i would recommend buying it. It is a good thing that coach only made limited quantity of this bag. Especially with it being hand made, i think it is not too common.
