He so deserves it! I went from Coach to premier designers, and now back to Coach! Who needs to pay $2K+ for a bag when he is creating such beautifully-crafted and gorgeous styles!?!?
Well-said- you echo a lot of our sentiments here. Stuart has made Coach a real player in the upscale handbag market. Let us hope he remembers this is why we love him- gorgeous bags at reasonable prices. Please do not join the ranks of LV, Chanel, Balenciaga, Goyard, Hermes, etc., at least in terms of price point.

I remember liking Coach when I was a teen, but it was out of my range then. When I was older and had money I wanted to spend, I had no interest in Coach anymore. Partly oversaturation and all the MFF siggy bags I saw where I lived, but also nothing really appealed to me. I have never gone to premier designers, but I did choose other contemporary brands over Coach, and never gave the latter much of a second look.

The 1941 line though really got me looking at Coach, at least in my internet browsing time as I don't live close by a boutique. I still stalled off buying the last year or more, but I finally caved and picked up 6 bags in the SAS. I also, for the first time ever in my lifetime, paid FP for a bag - the Olive Rogue. And with this new direction, I can see paying FP again for something I wanted as the quality in materials and construction is there.

Not surprised. Stuart has revamped the coach line starting with their outlaw/ACE satchel/Rogues and the continuous new offerings. I'm digging it!!! Way to go Stuart!! [emoji175]

:yahoo: Yay! He deserves it so much. What he has done with Coach is absolutely amazing and undoubtedly will be used as an example in textbooks in the future. His designs actually made a significant impact on my style and have provided me with a lot of joy. I hope he continues to do such a great job.

People here have echoed the sentiment that Coach's price-point is a key reason why Coach is so amazing. There aren't many companies left that have runway collections and actually sell them at affordable (relatively) prices. Although I have to admit I've been noticing a very real 'price-creep' in the last year. Slowly but surely everything in the collection becomes more and more expensive. More expensive collaborations and lines. The dresses from the Fall collection are a few hundred dollars more expensive than last year's but last year they were made of silk and this year many are made of viscose / cupro and skirts of polyester. Also I've noticed turnlock wristlets have gone up in price by a significant amount. I hope this trend doesn't continue, they're at a point now where the designs are lovely and the quality is amazing and the price is affordable. I would hate for any of these factors to be thrown off.
