Our local Coach store was renovated and I decided to pop in. Coach was my first designer bag out of college back in the 80's. I have since sold all my 80s and early 90s coach bags, but kept that very first one.

I must say, I'm loving the new designs. Probably because many are the simple clean lines of the 80's and 90's bags with beautiful leather and contrasting stitching. They are introducing the interchangeable straps like LV has, which I really like. They also sell a separate long chain which can be added to the pouches to make them crossbody. I walk in there and love so much of it that I walk out with nothing because I can't decide! I think maybe I'll start with this little guy.

Have any of you been in there? Thoughts on Coach and the direction Stuart Vevers is taking them?

I LOVE the new coach 1941 line. I just bought a dinky a couple of weeks ago and have been carrying it non-stop! I love the smell and feel of the leather. I also have a rogue 25 that I adore. I love the suede pockets on the rogue.

Wrong forum. This is Lv.

That's one of my favorite things about the Rogue too. I love the contrast of them and how they feel when you reach in. It's the little things, right? :amuse:

I bought so many coach bags between 2002 and 2012 but got steered more toward LV after coach seemed played out and too common. But now, LV is so expensive and the quality has gone down. I went into coach during the sale and have bought 2 bags! I’m so excited to be back with coach!! The quality is amazing and the customer service experience was terrific. Here are my bags! In my opinion, Stuart Vevers has done a bang up job with Coach - bringing the Rogue in the mix, as well as an emphasis on more glove-tanned/higher ended bags with the induction of the 1941 line. I like his throw back to Coach roots with his kisslocks and upcoming mailbox bags. He's also made Coach a player on the runway where it didn't previously exist, to the delight of long time collectors, and fashion enthusiasts that used to overlook the brand. I genuinely think he's brought many things to the label, and make it more relevant and appealing to younger demographics as well.
