Does anyone have any tips for breaking in leather flats?

They seem to fit ok lengthways but where the emblem is on the toe they kind of rub a little and it feels tight on the side of my toes.

Also I've heard of using some kind of wax to prevent rubbing. Can anyone shed some light on what kind of wax this is and where I can get it?

Hi Gremlin. I know what you are going thru. My Revas felt the same way when new. The sales girl at Tory Burch said make sure the length is right and the width will, over time, mold to your foot. When I got mine and before I wore them out I wore them around the house with thick socks on, sometimes 2 pairs of sock. This worked good for me. I had a couple pairs that were hurting where they cross over the bone for my big toe. I have a hard case sunglasses case with an usual shape to it. I would stuff it in the shoes and it stretched just the part above my big toe. I'd leave it in all night. You could use anything though.
Good luck

I put my regular shoe stretcher in mine (the same one I use for some of my Louboutin heels when the toe box is tight) Hope this helps!

Where can I get one of these amazing contraptions?

Shoe stores often sell them, however I just googled it online and purchased 2. Mine are made specifically for high heel (with an arch) so double check which type you're ordering. However I have used this same one in my TB Reva flats as well...works great!

Thanks!
I think I'm going to get one of these.
I'd rather just pay the money and stretch the shoe than end up wearing the shoes out by trying to wear them in.
