just a heads up... posting bags for sale here is not a good idea, in fact, it is against the rules of the forum. no buying/selling is allowed on tpf (unless you have been admitted to the Marketplaza). even if you set up some kind of online store, you cannot promote your sales here. even if you sell on ebay, you are not allowed to link to your auction either.

I agree. It sounds like this was the OP's intentions, which is fine, but everyone must follow the rules.

Sorry if I gave the impression I meant to sell here... I don't believe that I should mix business (the purses) with pleasure (talking about purses). I meant that I'll possibly post pictures on flickr or something for those dying to see the bags.

I think it might be weird to post pics here (even if it was just for gawking's sake) when everyone knows it's for sale.

Will let people know if I get pictures up so you can take a look at the bag explosion!

ebay really is a great way to sell. and there is a box you can click on the bottom of your sell page to donate money to your chosen charity.

i think donating to charity is a nice way to honor those who we have cherished before their passing. their memory goes to help another.

The ones that were special order & are still coming, I would think the stores would take those back. Especially if you told them the story.
I'm not internet savy but could she set up her own website, using PP, & sell them that way. Would mentioning it on her be against the rules, if she donated a certain percentage to charity?

You're not getting it.

Even if you are selling bags elswhere, you cannot come on to this forum soliciting for buyers.

People should really read the rules of a forum when they join and abide by them. After all, we are guests here.
