Hi,

I know this is very weird and do not blame anyone if you dont believe me.

But, I just want to know if anyone believe that stones can have a 'soul' trapped inside somehow. In my culture, we believe this and the soul can affect you in a good or bad way depending whether it is good or bad ones of course.

Now,

I just found my wedding ring that was lost for years since the wedding (about 4 yrs). It was not really lost just get misplaced by my mom. The stone was not purchased from the store so we just have it in the family for a long time. I dont even know whether anyone else owned it before us.

Anyway, I wore the ring for a couple of days and started having weird dreams about this guy that I loved very much (I never met him in real life) and even contemplating to leave my husband (in my dreams). The dream was very clear and I kept on thinking about it for days and days. I did not have any problem at all with my husband at that time. I kept on thinking that there is someone out there that I love more than my husband. I have not met him and have not even seen him.

After a few days I noticed that the setting of my ring was loose and I took it off to get it tightened at the jeweller. Since then I think less and less about the dream and not feel so weird.

Does anyone have the same experience ? Could the stone be my curse ?

I know I am ranting but I am very scared.

I don't personally think the two have anything related, I think it's common for women to have dreams like the ones you are mentioning.

On another note, every year near where I live they have a big antique jewelry show where you can buy, trade and sell antique pieces. I always enjoy going and imaging who owned the pieces and how it came into these traders possession.

interesting thread. i have heard of this.

a stone can be cursed or what-not.

... you also never know.. someone gets engaged/married.. has a bad marriage. They break off the relationship... and the ring is sold. the stone is taken out of the setting and is back on the market for sale.

No one knows.. if a diamond was ever on someones finger before.

I honestly wouldn't worry about your dream. Just focus on the good relationship that you and your hubby have and feel good about recovering your lost ring.

I had a colleague who once believed her ring was cursed. She once told me it was from an estate sale of a woman who committed suicide to kill off her other personality that kept popping in....she had multiple personalities. Everytime she wears it, bad things followed her, like a car accident, her husband got sick with food poisoning, her dog ran away, her kids got expelled from college. These incidences occurred over a 8 month period while wearing the ring. She traced back her life and connected the incidences to the tiime period she worn the ring. After she took it off, everything went back to normal. Was it a curse? Maybe. She never worn it again.
