storm is ruining my xmas

Its been snowing really badly since the morning today where we live. We were supposed to leave today but airport is close and flights are cancelled. We could not get a replacement flights that will get us to our destination before xmas

Oh well..... I should not complain. At least I am home safely from work instead of getting stuck on the road or at the airport.

A lot of people where I live are having a terrible time too. Many have not had electricity since last Thursday and are in shelters.

i havent been out since I got home, but my hubby said that the snow is now knee deep

Same thing happened to my brother this evening. He was supposed to go overseas to visit our mom for Christmas but his flight to his stopover city got cancelled. He's been on hold for a looooong time with the ticket agent....I guess everyone else is vying for flights too. Ugh, I feel really bad for you all.
