Storing wallets in purses

I love matching my wallets with my purses. Is it okay to store my wallets in my purses so it’s easier to switch between purses? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I do this but I put the wallet back in it’s dust bag first.

I don't see how it would do any harm. It's only advised not to keep items in their boxes, because the leather/canvas needs to be able to breathe, but keeping SLGs inside a bag when stored shouldn't affect them badly.

I only keep my Epi wallet in its dust bag in my Epi alma because the bag is structured. I keep a cushion in my Speedies so coordinating wallets are in their dust bags outside of bag.

I don't think it's a good idea..! I think the leather needs to be breathe well.

I have been storing all of my slgs inside their dustbags and then putting them into my purses since 2003-2004. Never had any issue or smell problems ever.

everything is stored in dark climate controlled room...
