I hate the way that my unused hangers use up so much room in my closet. What do you do with your unused hangers (ones you want to keep not throw away)?!

i hate how much room they take up, so i haven't really found a good way of storing them. i just stack them as neatly as possible (my huggable hangers stack nicely since they're flat and the velvet kinda makes them stick to each other) and put them into a shopping bag. i don't have room for a storage container for them and my closet definitely doesn't have room to hang them up.
I usually have a compartment (drawers) where I put all my hangers and I hate wire hangers, they're like dangerous

I'm constantly buying, so I seldom have empty/extra hangers. Those few are in a box in the bottom of my closet.
