Stores in Los Angeles to start engagement ring shopping

Can anyone recommend stores in Los Angeles for a couple starting to look for an e-ring? Looking for a place that is reputable, has a pleasant shopping experience, reasonable pricing, and has a good selection. I'm trying to help my brother, who is a little apprehensive of the whole process. He lives near the diamond district; a place close to there would be good, but he is willing to drive, too. Thank you!

I guess that depends what you're looking for. Get educated on cut before you strike out, above all. Esp if you are looking at rounds.

I have read that SNQueens is good, but I don't know much about them.

If you're not opposed to online, there are amazing online vendors that will work with you from afar, even if you only get your stone through online, and take it to be set locally.
