Hello Ladies-
Question how do you all store your MK Hamilton's? Also are there any inserts available to purchase to help keep Hamilton's Shape?
Would appreciate all feedback

Thank you in advance

I store mine in linen sweater boxes. They don't fit in there with the handles up, so I leave the handles down. I put all of my original tissue paper in the MK dust bag and stuff that bag inside the Hamilton to help it hold its shape. I also always take off the lock when in storage and put it in one of the inside pockets of the bag.

Thank You UBO22- where did you get your boxes? Also great tip with the lock never would have thought of that. [emoji6]

I store mine with the lock off and inside the zipper pocket, handles up stuffed with Mk original inside stuffing (tissue paper works really well too) I bought some at Costco around the holidays and it works great! and in the dust bag and tie it at the top so the handles stay up. Reason being if the handles are stored down I'm afraid of the handles making indents in the the side of my bags and trust me if you don't use them for a while they can get ruined. I once purchased a Selma on Poshmark that I thought was in excellent condition and the original owner had stored it with the handles down. You could see the indents from the handles...I tried to use a blowdryer to get the indents to come out of it and I couldn't. I had to send it back and luckily I got my money back. Just my opinion on storing:smile1:

You're absolutely right about the indents from the handles when left in the "down" position. It's a particularly bad problem with the Selma because of it's stiffer saffiano leather. I always store my Selmas with the handles in the "up" position.

One thing I noticed after receiving my Mirandas is that they came with a thin poster board piece that wrapped around the entire outside of the bag. I now sometimes use a thin piece of poster board and place it underneath the handles when they are down. This prevents indents on the side of the bag. It's a good trick if you don't have enough room to store your bags with the handles up.
