Hi Everyone,

I just want to share this sad story of this little girl from Russia who was adopted by a pedophile. This man spends thousands and thousands of dollars to adopt her from Russian orphanage only to sexually abuse her for 5 years! He ran a porn website that features photos of her being tied up and raped repeatedly by him.

Worst of all, no one ever bother to check on her after she was adopted here, even though the New Jersey adoption center was the one who helped with the adoption. :wacko:

I cried so much when i hear this news on TV. :sad:
This is such a sad story. I am happy that she got out. :cry: That man should be sentence to death for doing such a horrible thing...

I saw that show also and like you I cried. I slept poorly last night just thinking about it. It's the worst kind of abuse I've ever heard of. She is a brave girl to be able to survive that. :worried:

People who abuse children are the lowest of the low. I won't even go read the story because I know how upset it will make me. He deserves to suffer for the rest of his miserable life.

What makes me mad the most is the irresponsible-ness (is there even such a word?) of the agency staff. :evil:

:amazed: I mean, we cannot really stop what pedophiles do but we can do our part to prevent or reduce child abuse by just doing our job! I am baffled by the fact that the NJ adoption agency does not even bother to pay visit or follow up after the adoption. :wacko:

That is right. I actually had a class back in college that focused some on pedophiles and it is true that rapists and pedophiles have to be kept away from everyone else because the other prisoners who hate them.

Stories like this make me so upset that I can barely even read or think about it :cry:

He was sentenced 15 years for child porn charges....this offense gave him a minimum of 35 years.

I hope he never gets out.

The question that immediately popped into my head when I started to read this thread was, what screening processes were there in place, and if it is that easy to adopt children, is this basically an "adoption" agency where children are for sale ?!

Surely, all children deserved to be loved and protected, so there has to be strict enforcements on prospective parents. When the transfer of large sums of cash is involved, it just makes it seem more like a purchase rather than administrative fees for adoption.

What a heartbreaking story. :sad:

[edit]: oh my god.. this was the girl from the photos earlier this year, well, the Toronto police edited out the pictures of the abuse and published pictures in hopes of finding the pedophile and the girl, since they saw that this was a situation where a child was under the care of someone who abused her regularly, and she was actually growing up in this abuse. It's horrible that something can happen like this.
