Stitching on bags

Hi! I just received a pochette from a trusted reseller. It was supposedly used a couple of times, so not bnib. They provided bababebi authentication. The bag had stickers on the hardware but I am examining the corners and although I can appreciate a little corner wear, the stitching is worrying me. On the corners where the wear is, it looks like the “paint” on the stitching is coming off revealing a white thread underneath. Is this normal? I wouldn’t think that stitches would be painted on, but rather inherently dyed prior to stitching into the bag (therefore unable of being “peeled” off. Did I get a fake and this is a tell?

It’s worth paying for your own authentication. Maybe email Bababei to confirm the authentication is hers and for that particular bag.
