yes, balenciaga white is hard to maintain and it will oxidize to ivory
black is the ultimate and it will never go wrong IMHO

For your first I recommend a darker color since the lighter colors are hard to keep clean. JMO.

I would definitely go for a darker colour - you can never go wrong with black. Plus, summer will be over soon so you won't get much use out of a white bag for some time.

It looks great; personally though I'd be petrified with fright between trying to keep a white bag clean and the fear of the color oxidizing to yellow. The darker colors are more practical for me.

That's a beautiful white bag, but IMO white is easy to ruin. You may consider the darker color, as black, charbon.

I got my first BBag recently - an Anthracite City with GGH. It is perfect for me - the size is great and I can wear it all year and it goes with everything. And the leather is wonderful!

My First Balenciaga bag was White First and I loved it so much! It turned to creamy colour after while but I really loved her for years. I would say you may want to have something darker if you are worried about getting discoloured.

I don't think I would ever risk a white bag, so I have no Bbags that colour. The one I use most just now is my Anthra Twiggy. Great colour for year-round use. But you might fancy something brighter. I love Framboise, but there are so many great Bal colours the world is your oyster. I'd have almost anything except white!

ITA.....a darker color would be a better choice for your first bbag....cannot go wrong with classic black!

Personally, I would stay away from white... it's hard to maintain. Instead, why not pastel colors? So many beautiful colors out there...
