Sticky handles on sac de jour

Hello,

My baby sac de jour from 2020 is sticky on the underside of the handles. I store it in a dust bag, wear it regularly and don't live in a humid climate. I can't tell if it's dry leather or buildup from my hands (?)

I have tried using leather cleaner and moisturizer but it's not working.

Has this happened to anyone?

Mine is from 2018 and is ok. I never wear hand cream except going to bed so maybe it is a product build up.
