So I live in Norway, and really wanted to purchase a Stella McCartney bag (Falabella, fold over tote in small). The price in stores are around 860 euro, for the bag. And a lady on the “used-market”, tried to sell it to me for 810 euro, saying that she payed around 1195 usd for the bag in USA in 2017. She showed me the recite, how is this possible? That the bag can cost so much more in USA?

Import taxes will raisethe prices of foreign goods, for instance. The Falabellas, larger ones, seem to cost around or over $1 000 each and the small foldable is also over $1 000. I think the bag has to be in supreme condition if the price is so close to the price of a new one though.

BTW let's hope the bag owner isn't a tPF member since you openly displayed her name and your suspicions.

Okey, It is weird that the bag cost less in my country and more in the us. It is 860 euro or less for the biggest size. I’m. Is there a page with usd prices? I want to be 100% sure
