Steel montaigne

Hi ladies,

I am planning to purchase my first mont and I'm wondering if any bv stores still carry any steel or shadow mont?
Are all the new mont with the flat handles? I did a search on the forum and seems like someone mentioned that black and ebano mont are still made in the old braided handles. Any advice is appreciate.

This one currently on sale on Malleries is comparable to the old montaigne style (with braided handles) in steel color. It is probably the closest you can get in current seasonal colors.

It is called Boston Bag. I think the major difference compared to the old montaigne is that you cannot wear it with the sides lifted up to shape like a tote. But the overall shape and size is very similar. I'm not sure if the old montaigne is still available even in the nero and ebano. Probably an SA could help you locate it.

Thanks for the intel. I prefer having the sides lifted up.
