Hello ladies, because i know you guys know it all i come to you.

I bought a deep coral dress and i want to pair it with a long statement necklace. I don't want to spend a fortune so around the prices of J Crew jewelry, what other places can i look at? J Crew jewelry looks very expensive and the crystal/rhinestone pieces they carry are great but they don't have anything long right now and that is what i want.

Thoughts?

Check out your local tjmaxx.. I found a beautiful flowered rhinestone statement necklace that's a dead ringer for JCrew and it was $29... I get so many compliments on it whenever I wear it.

Oh, and anthropologie has some really beautiful statement necklaces as well.. The cheaper versions can be found at the chain Francesca's closet..
I love Stella and dot as well but they can be pricey for what they are (but still in the jCrew range)

I like some French Connection statement necklaces. I used to have a large gold-toned knot necklace, but it was faulty and I sent it back. Be careful that it can stand up under its own weight! ;)

Go to Gilt! They have statement necklaces as we "speak." :-)

think about color too. turquoise looks great with coral. if i want a piece of jewelry to pop off what i'm wearing i look for a color on the opposite side of the color wheel (this is an old gardener's trick).

I think turquoise, as sgj99 suggested, is a really good choice to complement your coral dress. My niece is getting married and her colors are coral and navy blue. So I would do a search on-line for a turquoise, or lapis or even iolite bead necklaces.
