Looking to start charm collection with my 8 year old daughter. I thought it would be really fun memories for us. I am looking at several chain link necklaces. Annoushka, Foundrae, Jennifer Fisher kind of chain necklaces. Any advices would be appreciated. Would love these to be my daily necklace - she is already wearing gold chain from her birth gift collection. I am looking for one for myself.

My mother created her own (but a bracelet) and then passed it on to me.

Just make sure each is very personal to you (or her) and have them professionally attached/soldered.

You actually remind me I have a new-to-me gold zebra I need to find a necklace for.

Most of their pieces are silver, but I have a number of charms from Jet Set Candy. They're mostly travel-themed, where you can get luggage tag and passport stamp charms for places you travel.

Well noted on the professionally attached. I bought an inexpensive charm at local store in Penang on my last weekend trip. It lasted 3 hours before breaking off.

You must treasure the bracelet 🤍

I am looking forward to get gold paperclip necklace. I am obsessed with instagram lady “Girl with a Diamond Earring”

My mother had a heavy gold charm bracelet and I loved to play with it as a child and create little stories about each of the charms.
Thank you for reminding me of that! I'm sure your daughter will love hers, especially if you choose charms that are meaningful to you/her or choose them together or add one on special occasions.

Thank you for sharing the story. I am very excited to start. I bought very inexpensive chain and now looking for the real YG necklace :)
