Hoping scarf lovers could help
me.

My beloved father recently passed away. He was kind, intelligent, a feminist and a huge lover of fashion.

His favorite color was red. We are planning a Celebration of Life and my mom would like to encourage people to wear red or bright vibrant colors.

I don’t think I want to wear an entirely red outfit so I’ve started looking for H scarves and shawls to pop over a black or navy dress. I’m looking on the H site at current scarves and open to pre-owned if they are in great condition.

Please share any designs from past seasons you have seen in red; I will see if I can track them down. Right now Mountain Zebra is one of the designs I like, and I like the bandana shawls (but worry they might be a little casual looking for the occasion). I am happy to be proven wrong on that!

Thank you.

Red equates to love beauty and strength so it's fitting, it's usually for flowers but why not clothes.

This is current and will look nice with dark blue (IMO)

There are many red scarves from previous years, but thinking love, beauty and strength:
Zenobie (queen) (different shades of red)
Red and white Dallet's Jungle love, all red Guépards
Red Les Danse de Amazones (CSGM + 90)

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, but LOVE that you are honoring your Dad with his favorite color. A new scarf seems a perfect way to do that and have a lovely remembrance that honors him every time you wear it

As for suggestions, I wear a TON of red (with gray) for work, so finding a red scarf has been a perennial quest for me. My hands down favorite is Pegase Paysage shawl (still on h.com). It was stunning out of the box and drapes beautifully. Shown here with black, but also red (please excuse photo quality, I had to copy off of an event photo). It has proven extremely versatile and while I got it for my “red events,” I now love it for itself!

I’m very sorry for your loss .
Honoring your dad wearing his favorite color is a lovely idea. As soon as I read your post, this design came to my mind: Libre comme Pégase. It has that touch of red, and also comes with the pegasus and all of its symbology - bringing Sky and Earth together. Not sure if it will still be available in your local boutique, but there are still a few in some countries online:

These are beautiful suggestions. I’ve seen most of them but wasn’t able to recall the names of all the designs. My dad would love all of these.

Thank you!

Your description made me cry, as it is the perfect sentiment. My father also had a painting of horses that looked similar to this so this is incredibly fitting.

Thank you!

Sorry to hear about your dad!! I have this scarf if you want to see real life photos, I've posted in another thread:

Another one that come to mind and that I own is Sous L'egide de Mars, photo link here:

I have the Panthera Pardus 90 in red & black (it looks almost like a dip dye but not) . It is amazing, classique & by Dallet (one of my favourite designers). Not sure how available it is on re-seller sites, however. Here's the scarf flat.
