stain(?) on new to me Pochette Métis

I recently celebrated with a purchase of a preloved Pochette Métis! In the sale photos I did notice this on the vachetta but it’s bothering me more as I see it in person! Is there anything I can do to make this less noticeable (without any tassle accessories) thank you in advance!

I would take a damp cloth and wipe down the vachetta. It will help even out the water spots.
