Stacking Cartier Love Ring with another ring?

Hi,
I have a Cartier love wedding band and I am thinking of stacking it with a thin (maybe around 1.4mm) half eternity diamond yellow gold band, also 18k.
I know 18 K scratches anyway but can something bad happen if I stack them and wear them together? I don‘t want to damage both of them.
They don’t move around too much on my finger so I am not sure how much they’re actually scratching up each other, they’re basically just lying on top of each other.

I doubt the diamonds will seriously damage your love ring unless the diamond carat size is larger than the width of the band that it is set it.

The way the diamonds are set may also make a difference but if they are small diamonds, it usually is fine.

Have you gone in to try the love ring with the half eternity band? If or you do, photos would be very helpful to determine if there could be any potential unwanted damage to your love ring.

And also your last paragraph is a bit confusing so again photos would be helpful.

Sorry, my first language isn’t English, I meant to say that they just sit next to each other, they don’t move around like stacked Cartier bracelets on wrists
Thats why I am also curious how much it actually affects the rings, since they’re just sitting there next to each other just touching each other (:

I think your stack is beautiful and I don’t see any potential issues with the diamonds causing unnecessary or excess damage to your love ring!

On a side note I have 2 half eternity diamond bands (both smaller diamonds like yours) that I stack with a variety of rings. Never had any issues!

Does your eternity band setting feel smooth on the side? I have several diamond bands and some have prongs that are on the side and I wouldn’t wear them against a Love band or any ring that I worry it may scratch. I just ordered a plain extra thin 1mm platinum band from Etsy a couple of days ago to wear between rings that I worry may scratch each other. The ring on the right of the pic is the one with prongs that are likely to scratch other rings; the other two have smooth sides.
