Saks just received the reissues in gold! Can't wait for the purple to come in
I also saw the gold reissue today at Saks BH...the $2425 size (med flap as Saks calls it). They also had the small dark silver reissue in the small $2250 size. (small flap as they call it). It was strange that they were just sitting on the shelf. There must be waitlists for these items.
My SA said they just got them in today. They were sure they would sell since today is EGC.
Oh, I called Singapore Chanel and they said it is metallic calfskin. But the SA in Paris told me lambskin.........oh, so sad...how, gals? Can anyone console me? will the quilted look on the reissue become 'flat' after a while?
Happy:
1.Easier to maintain.
2.Nicer-looking than caviar (IMHO, no offence to anyone)
3.Lamb is hard to maintain, esp Chanel lamb.

1.I tot it was lamb! I have no bags in lamb!

babevivtan, do you have any other 2.55 reissues? They have always been calfskin. They are not puffy like the quilted lambskin.
Dear Mon - nope....this is the only reissue i have.....hmmmm....nevermind since it is still nice and has brought joy and update to you, my sisters at TPF =)
