Squeaky Heels!!

Hey Ladies, I need your help!

I have a new pair of valentino heels that are beautiful and wore them out last night only to find out that they were squeaking with every few steps I took. I have experienced this with other heels as well. I feel it is from the friction of the bottom of the heel against the floor. Does anyone know of a fix?

Putting rubber soles on the shoe... Vibrams! And changing the heel tip to a rubber one if it's plastic!

@shopaholic.10, I know this is an old thread but it's the most recent one I could find about squeaky heels ... Did you find a solution for yours? Dealing with this myself now and I'd be heartbroken to have to return the shoes...

@Brigette031, what type of shoes did you try the Vibrams on to fix the squeak?

Other threads suggest talcum powder on the inside but it's not that type of squeak in this case, it's coming from the heel. I've only worn the shoes twice, the first day no problems but the second day it started on the left shoe.

Any further insights would be welcome! I read every thread here on TPF but nobody followed up after posting to say if they got their squeak to subside.
