Hi all!
After 6 yrs. my boyfriend and I are finally designing our engagement ring
We have the mount all figured out and have pretty much narrowed it down to two stones. We are trying to emulate the look of Tiffany's Lucida with our own twist.
Can I please ask for some opinions on these two diamonds?
#1 Princess of Hearts 1.86 carat, I, SI1, eye clean. 7.15x 7.13. I don't have any other measurements or percentages but have seen this stone twice in person and it is magnificent! Sparkles like nothing else I have looked at so far.
#2 Square Radiant 2.18 carat, H, VS1. 7.28 x 7.04 x 5.28.
total depth 75%, table width 71%, crown height 13%, pavilion depth 60%.
This stone is in Europe and would be brought in..but it's awfully difficult to buy sight unseen but it can be returned.
We have a very specific budget and I was pretty much sold on diamond #1 until our other jeweler located this stone from his contact in Belgium. This is a family business who has worked with this supplier for 40 yrs. and they say it's a very beautiful stone.
Can anyone offer a comment on the specs I have provided? I would truly appreciate any input.
Thank you
