Is crumpled calfskin aged calfskin like on the reissues? I haven't seen any aged calfskin flaps with the cc turn lock.

I don't know what the Spring crumpled calfskin would look like as Chanel does tend to change how the do the leather. The last time they did it that I'm aware of was on the Shiva flaps but at that time they chose to do it in a flat quilting (like attached) vs. a puffy quilting. I am not sure how the spring one would look like but got myself on the list to see how it would look. it can go either way as I can see that the leather can be quite a sturdy one if not done in a thin and flat manner like below (e.g., same leather done differently)
