i went to south coast today and saw kelly 28 in blue jeans...it was soooo pretty...but i didnt ask the SA how much it was :( .... my mom has birkin 35 in togo leather...( which i hvant seen it yet, my brother got her as a present..all i know is its light brown with gold hardware as she described but i have no idea what light brown she is talking about...)
anyways.... my point is...does anyone know how much it is? i checked at hermes shopping for price list but it was all 2007 prices... ... now i am home checking on ebay...and i think to myself... :confused1:
1. should i buy the pre-loved one here but size 35 for $4888which i think it will be too big for me..or go back to the store and get 28? any suggestion?
2. should i wait and see how much will it cost if i get it from paris? or london?:p

4. how much for kelly (togo leather) now.. size 28 and 35? and 30 or 35 for birkin? my brother bought it for my mom at hermes in bangkok...and it cost around 300000 baht plus...its 35 for 1 dollar now... so its 8571??

i think if you loved the one in the store i'd get that one. plus you know for suire it is authentic...some of the ones on ebay are authentic, however. if you post in the authentic thread the format that is suggested, one of the members there can help you determine the authenticity of the one on ebay.

i'm not sure of the price for togo kelly bags, but if you check the prices thread in the shopping section, you can find out your answer. a 30 togo birkin is 8250 us dollars or thereabouts.

for both the authenticate this thread and the prices thread, just look up towards the top of the shopping section.

Auction bag #1 is in Taiwan. #2 is in Beverly Hills. I think #1 is too far away from Cali. #2 is in your own state and not that much further from SCP (not sure where you are starting at) but it's beige. I think the blue jean color at the boutique is such a perfect young first time handbag color! It will go with everything AND you will have a wonderful first time bag buying experience at the boutique.

As for price, a tPFer just posted that a 35cm clemence Kelly is $7300 + tax. Togo and clemence are priced the same. An earlier post #1445 said 28cm togo Kelly was $6700 + tax. HTH!!

helloOrigonfanlisa!!!! i just called and asked at southcoast plaze ( by the way i live in marina del rey...very close to beverly hills/ rodeo drive ) ..anyways...i called them and asked..and it was still there...they have 2 kelly..one in blue jeans with Epsom leather in size 28 and rouge but i think its not 28.i didnt ask about rouge though... the price is 7350 plus tax.. so i guess with leather togo..is cheaper???

Yes, Epsom is more. Togo/Clemence in the retourne (non-structured) style will always be the cheapest leather of all of choices. but, Epsom will wear like iron. It's my friend's favorite leather (I don't own it). It is firmer than either togo/clemence. Don't rush into a decision. Each color, leather and structure has it's own personality. Since you're so close to BH, you should visit and try on!!

blue jean is actually not one of my favorite colors... BUT i have it in epsom in a bearn wallet and it's very lovely...not quite as bright as it is in togo. epsom is structured and will keep its shape over time.

it's a very expensive hobby, hermes...so what you should do is go to the store again when you can and take your time getting to play with the bag...you just never know until you can look at it in real life and carry it around some to see if you like it! that's the best advice i can give you (i know it sounds like common sense but it's true!)

I've been to the SCP store several times these past two weeks (last time was on Wednesday the 12th) but I haven't seen a BJ Kelly?

Was in the the upper shelf behind the rounded glass display? Was is Rigide w/PHW?

As far as your question, there is a huge difference b/w a 28 & a 35cm? I suggest you go back to the store, try it on, and ask the price.
