Speedy owners... hand or arm?

Both, but mostly on the arm.
Currently with my Azur mostly on the arm til it gets more patina...(trying not to get the handles dirty). Once it's patina-ed a bit more, and worn a bit...I won't be so wary/nervous to carry it by it's handles. I figure with some patina "any dirtiness" won't be so bad, compared to "brand new handles".
With my Damier, Mini Lin, and Epi Speedies this of course was a non-issue. Handheld, arm...whatever I was/am in the mood for!
But with the Vachetta handles of the Azur...I'm more cautious. LOL, once I find a lil speck of dirt or something on my new vachetta handles I tend to relax a bit more.
Just trying to break her in gently....heehee...

arm, afriad to get the handle dirty. tr444-how can you manage to hold Manhattan PM/GM? on ur arm? the only reason i couldn't bring the manhattan home w/me is b/c it's heavy when empty!
My beautiful speedy 25 is usually propped up on my arm because I'm scared of getting the handles dirty.
But I've been seeing a lot of speedies around mostly held by their handles.
So how do YOU prefer to carry yours?
I sound like you, mind you with my mini lin no worries.
Funny though because i'm not like this with my ellipse.
really depends how much stuff is in my bag. if theres a lot then in my hand but if its almost empty then in the crook of my arm
