Hi! I spotted a speedy 25 bandouliere at a consignment shop and noticed that the inner pocket was sewn into the side of the canvas with the right side up LV monogram. Photos on the website and numerous internet photos show the inner pocket sewn on to the side of the canvas with the upside down LV monogram. May I please ask if anyone has seen the former before? Is it a defect? Hard to believe it is a fake as it is a reputable consignment store and appears to be one of the new models with no date code. Thanks so much in advance for your help!

This is nothing! The Speedy 25 on the Vuitton website has another pocket sewn the inner pocket

on the serious note, if it really is authentic, then it is a serious QA isse that it could come out of the factory, but it also makes it extremely unique. Like those stamps that were misprinted and now worth millions.

Yes, with the inner pocket seemingly sewn on to the wrong side of the bag, I wondered if the uniqueness would make it more potentially valuable like misprinted stamps or coins! LOL! But I have a feeling it is sadly more quality control issues.

Yes, in the bag world it is considered a red flag rather than a unique feature :(
