Speedy hot stamp removal

I have purchased pre-loved before & the hot stamping cannot be removed, but the leaf (leather piece) where the hot stamping is can be replaced by taking it in to your local Louis Vuitton Store & they then send it to Paris to have it replaced. You would have to go to your local store or call them for the cost of doing that. I believe it is only a small cost to do this.Could anyone please tell me if the hot stamp can be removed from a speedy?
I don't want just the gold removed, but the actual whole tab.
Does anyone have any before or after photos?

Us ladies have to do this sometimes if we have got married and our initials change to a married name, so Louis Vuitton are used to this request.
Why don't they just send it to the factory/repair center in CA? I guess it depends on where you live. I live in Canada, items here are sent to California for repair work but the poster you quoted lives in Australia so maybe it is easier to send to Paris from there?
