Does the speedies have their respective numbers on the back of the tabs? I am eyeing a speedy 25 on ebay and it has a "25" marked on the back of on of the tabs on the side, i think its the tab that says louis vuitton made in france. Thanks!

Yes, all of them do. Why don't you post the link so we can look at it and make sure it's authentic. Some of the fakes have the number stamped on the tab as well.

i auction was over but i do have a few other ones that I'm determined to buy...maybe you guys could give me a hand....

Thanks for all ur help guys...hopefully i'll bring one of these home this weekend!

Swedie: congrats on being engaged! 3 more months and ur gonna be married! Ahhh!

Aww, thanks babyzJadez! I'm picking my dress up in Virginia next month, SOOO excited

Okay, number 1 I would stay away from.. the price is low.. and the seller has sold multiple LV items, she doesn't list ANY of them as authentic. I can't actually see any clear signs of it being fake, but the pics aren't really telling. I would stay away.

Number 2, I have NO idea why she would list it for $0.99, to me that's very suspicious.. Ask for more pics, the pic there is not detailed enough.. It does look good in the pic she listed, but the pic might not be of the actual bag (we've seen stolen pics before... tons of times..).

Number 3, FAKE!

There are some good deals out there on ebay, but they are extremely hard to find.. Check out MPRS auctions and ALVA auctions, that's a safer bet.

Good luck ;)

Thanks again Swedie! You guys r great! I asked the seller about more pics for the second one. My guess was that maybe it's lower price because it doesn't include the locks and keys? Maybe. maybe not?

In terms of those auctions:

1) FAKE

2) She's hiding something...

3) FAKE

The numbers under the leaf on the Speedy's and Keepall's are small numbers, and correspond to the length of the bag in centimeters. Some fakes have numbers but they look HUGE, in comparison to real ones!

Here's the smaller numbers on my Keepall 55:
